Products using TypeScript
1 productWhat is TypeScript?
TypeScript is a language from Microsoft that adds static types on top of JavaScript. You write types, the compiler checks them before the code runs, and the output is ordinary JavaScript that works anywhere JavaScript does.
It’s the default for many web products because one language can cover the browser and the server, and types catch a whole class of mistakes during a refactor. The cost is a build step and some time spent satisfying the compiler.
