Privacy policy

Visitors

We count product page views and clicks to products without cookies. Each visit is counted with a one-way hash of your IP address, browser and a random value that changes every day; the IP address itself is never stored and the hash cannot be linked across days.

We record the referring website’s domain, your country (from our hosting provider) and device type (desktop, mobile, tablet). Raw events are deleted after 90 days; daily totals are kept.

Account holders

We store your email address, name and avatar (from Google or GitHub, if you use them), the products you submit, and your votes.

Product traffic statistics are shown to the product’s maker, and launch reports may be public.

Payments

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. We never see or store card details; we keep the order, amount, status and the provider’s payment reference.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we store your email address and when you confirmed. Every issue has a one-click unsubscribe link.

Service providers

We use providers for hosting, database, file storage (Cloudflare R2), email delivery (Resend), payments (Dodo Payments) and error reporting. They process data only to provide their service to us.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing hello@shipscroll.com. We answer within 30 days.
